Ann Rutledge is Founder and President Emeritus of Megalexis Communications Inc.
Ann holds a Master of Arts degree (translation) from the Université de Montréal, a Teaching Diploma, a Teaching license and a Bachelor of Music from McGill University. She has also authored a book entitled Vocabulaire de l'imagerie médicale published by l'Office de la langue française. She is a professional certified translator, member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ).
In 2001, Ann started Megalexis Communications. She has seen the company grow from a startup and takes pride in its continued success. In 2013, she acquired Tessier Translations S.C.C., in Gatineau, Quebec. Ann was instrumental in promoting the values of the Megalexis Group. Inspired by her unstoppable work ethic, the entire team helped ensure a smooth transition to ensure that employees, processes, and customer care were all positively aligned.
Ann has also been a member of AILIA, the Language Industry Association, and was elected Chair and President of the executive committee. During her chairmanship, she spearheaded lobbying efforts for translation norm certification and standardization. Ann has also served on numerous occasions as a jury member for the Mérites TI of the Office de la langue française (OQLF) and for McGill University translation examinations. Prior to 2001, Ann managed the Language Service Departments at Microcell Télécom and American Express.
